Andrew Whitesell:

I was Born in Rochester, NY and raised in the Finger Lakes Region. I graduated from Bloomfield Central School in 2003, with a class size of 72.

I had originally planned on perusing a career in science, wanting to be a biologist from the early age of about 7. I loved to draw, however, and in high school I started to take more advanced art courses as well as playing in the senior high concert and jazz band. At the same time I started to become interested more in computers and creating websites.

It was the mixture of art and computers that brought me into RIT, seeking a degree in the IT New Media program (now Interactive Development). I love the chance to really use both sides of my brain when working.

I have created some of the header animations on this website, as well as assisted shooting the video and transferring video. I’m grateful for the chance to use my talents to give back to a truly good orginiztion like the Step Family Association of Rochester.
